Chapel Talk, 2007 November 11: Thoughts on Thanksgiving / Louisa Zendt

Director of Admissions Louisa Zendt '78, in relating her own family's Thanksgiving traditions reflects: "Thanksgiving is a time to think of our many blessings and the great bounty that has been bestowed upon us." She discusses the idea of being overwhelmed with the bounty of family, food, and finally with gratitude. Louisa compares Move-In Day to past St. Andreans packing lists; talks of Bulk Trash Day and the concepts of reusing and recycling; and speaks to the idea of writing thank you notes as a signal of true gratitude.
