During her Sabbatical Year, Monica Matouk and her family went to Monica's home in Egypt. In this talk, Monica speaks of the rhythm of their life there, of the subtleties of language vis a vis the sensibility of culture, of being an Arab-American, and of the dissonance of belonging and not belonging at the same time.
