Math teacher Kim Klecan addresses assumptions of cultural norms in her Chapel Talk. In questioning what is taken for granted as "normal", she suggests looking carefully behind the construct of what is considered standard knowledge: "If our goal is to be engaged citizens of the world, we must be thoughtful and intentional about examining what the voices of that world are telling us is right and good."
