Appearing in this photo is George Shuster '63. "Tall guy in center is Shuster '63" This photo was identified by Tom Lackey '64. In a note from Andrew Ringle '66: "According to the yearbook, the Science Club at that time hosted two advanced seminars, one in oceanography (Mr. Amos' area of expertise) and one in organic chemistry (Mr. Colburn's specialty). Given the nature of the lab equipment and Mr. Colburn's presence in the picture, we might infer here a gathering of the organic chemistry seminar.
