In the fall of 2020, St. Andrew's chose to abstain from athletic competition with other schools. This opened up the opportunity for a fall crew program. Varsity rowers were able to get extra training, and novices received a sneak peek into the sport, as well as a jump start on their rowing skills. Coxswains were required to wear face shields as well as masks.
