Halfback Bill Strong '70 had four touchdowns and Tom Stephens '70 collected 27 tackles, enabling St. Andrew's to win the game 46 - 0. The Saints scored more points this game than they had scored in any single game in the three previous years. St. Andrew's defense preserved the shut-out by holding back St. Elizabeth's for four downs after they had managed to get inside the Cardinal's own one-yard line. Bill Knight '69, Tom Stephens '70 and Bill Strong '70 were selected to the first team All-Conference, while Tim Marguilies '69 and Bobo Olson '70 received second team honors.
