The cover photo shows a group of St. Andrew's travelers on a School trip to South Africa, and a feature article by The Reverend David DeSalvo with photographs from Joe Seiler ’10 and contributions from Mary Wilson ’12 and Joleen Hyde shares further reflections on this journey. The issue also includes the Convocation Address by Diahann Johnson and notes and photographs from a busy fall on campus: sports, arts, extracurriculars, and classroom pursuits. The 71 members of the senior class of 2011 answer the question, "What did you do this summer?" Claudia Heath ’11 expands on her experience in an essay at the end of the magazine. Turning to alumni stories, Abigail DeLashmutt ’00 profiles the Turner family (including Oliver ’94 and Christopher ’97) and their business, the Virginia Chutney Company.
