This issue of the magazine begins with a From the Headmaster, a chapel talk given by Jon O'Brien in early spring where he discusses living and loving nature. A feature describing the various community service projects in which SAS students actively participate. Science teacher Peter McLean with an update on the forestry program. Math teacher John Higgins writes on the retirement of longtime faculty member Alice Ryan while Chaplain Louise Howlett reports on the retirement of her mentor, Simon Mein. An announcement regarding the School's radio station founded by Drew Virden '92. The In Memory section pays tribute to W. Randolph Talley '74, Charles Mooney '56 and the eldest daughter of the first headmaster of St. Andrew's School, Melissa (Missy) Pell Thomson. Various items from the school store are featured throughout the magazine: School blazer, old School tie, Seat of Learning (captain's chair) and a needlepoint kit when finished features a pillow displaying the Griffin posed before the St. Andrew's cross. The back cover is a From the Archives feature with a picture of the 1940 junior baseball team and a photo of faculty children taking during the 1940s. Class notes as well as many photos are also included in this issue.
