winners of the Franklin Select Circle Coaching
Awards. Washburn Cove is dedicated in honor of longtime crew coach Dave Washburn '44. Duncan Holcomb reports on the "stellar football season" including a note from alum Jack Schreppler '74 to the football team congratulating them on a successful season. Magazine contributor Bonnie McBride writes of her visit to lawyer turned sheep farmer Jerry Wigglesworth '58. Many photos are included in this issue that were taken during a special screening of Dead Poets Society for friends of SAS held at the Delaware Museum of Natural History in Wilmington. This event raised $24,550 for the Scholarship Fund. There are also many photos in this issue taken during Alumni Weekend 1989. Frank Bate '38, Stanley Woodworth '39, Oliver Van Petten, Jr. '40, and Stephen Lyon '72 are recognized in the In Memory section.
