Full title: The Twenty-Fifth Anniversary of St. Andrew's School, Middletown, Delaware / Remarks of Bishop McKinstry / Address of Dean Pike / Twenty-Fifth Year Report of the Headmaster, 1955

The first 3 pages of the booklet are the "Remarks of the Right Reverend Arthur R. McKinstry, D.D. / Retired Bishop of Delaware and Former President of the Episcopal Church School Foundation, Inc., at the Service of Holy Communion / October 14, 1955". The Bishop recalls with gratitude and appreciation the Founder and the charter trustees, the Donor (Irene duPont), Walden and Edith Pell, the faculty, the staff and employees, the students.

Page 4 and 5 of the booklet is the "Summary of the Address delivered by the Very Reverend James A. Pike, J.S.D., D.D., Dean of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, New York City, at the Twenty-Fifth Anniversary Convocation, October 15, 1955". Rev. Pike speaks to the unlikelihood of building a Christian school in the midst of the Depression: he speaks of the literal Depression as well as of a figurative depression of Religious education. Rev. Pike avers it is religious schools such as St. Andrew's that will fulfill the mission of placing religion in the fore of every discipline and curriculum.

The rest of the booklet is devoted to Walden Pell's Twenty-Fifth Report of the Headmaster, October 15, 1955. In this report, he recalls the "bold Christian vision" of the Founder, and addresses the fulfillment of the statement of purpose of the school, that being: "It is the purpose of the Founder, Alexis Felix du Pont that St. Andrew's School should provide secondary education of a definitely Christian character, at the minimum cost consistent with modern equipment and the highest standards. The teaching and conduct of the School are based on the Christian religion." He breaks out the various aspects of the statement of purpose and describes how the School is fulfilling each of those aspects.

The report concludes with a cataloging of gifts received.
