The G. Coerte Voorhees Prize for Classical Languages given by his children in memory of their father, G. Coerte Voorhees, Latin teacher at St. Andrew's School from 1935 to 1962. Awarded to the student who has done outstanding work in Latin and/or Greek. The 2019 G. Coerte Voorhees Prize for Classical Languages was awarded to Arthur Potter, Adelia Rattray, Story Hentoff, Augustine Segger, and Margaret Murphy.
