This painting was sold to the School by Frank E. Schoonover. It was used as an illustration for Walter Camp's "The Mystery of Rowing" published in The Century Illustrated Monthly Magazine, July 1910, and is the companion painting to Stroke Jumping - "Broken Oar" [Schoonover day book #410].
