Cornerstone

This cornerstone dated 1929 is laid beneath the Headmaster's Office. The cornerstone contains a Bible, Prayer Book, Bishop Cook's address for the day, a copy of incorporation and bylaws of the Episcopal Church School Foundation, names of trustees, copies of several newspaper accounts of the School's founding, a photograph of all those that attended the cornerstone ceremony, a statement by the Founder, a brief outline of the plans for the School by the Founder, architectural drawings for Founders Hall, a one dollar bill and coins.
