Chapel Talk, 2020 February 5: On Happiness, Craving and Freedom / Harvey Johnson

In this talk, Dean of Math and Science Harvey Johnson promises to "give you the key to happiness before this talk is over." Introducing the talk with a poem from Patrul Rinpoch ("Advice from Me to Myself") Harvey discusses the spiritual meaning of the word "addiction" and how enriching a life can be once released from the pangs of craving, and then lays out four steps on how to attain happiness, along with a meditative exercise.
