          Notes
Headmaster Tad Roach opened the Sunday chapel season with the annual Old St. Anne's Chapel service in Middletown. Tad speaks about the anniversary of September 11th and other acts of terrorism and honoring those whose lives have been lost.
Tad also talks about the summer all school read, Sing Unburied Sing by Jesmyn Ward and tying in those trying times along with current events happening in the world today:
"Jesmyn Ward’s Sing, Unburied, Sing describes in powerful detail such an agonizing and horrific moment in our history, and she suggests through the heroism and grace of Jo Jo and Kayla that it is your generation that has the power to heal these lacerations of the human spirit."
