In this Chapel Talk, Religious Studies teacher Jason Kunen shares an existential crisis moment, and the ultimate resolution of that crisis in training how to live an authentic life. Thru his seinsei, Sifu David Machin, Jason learns the essence of what it is to be aware and to live a contented life, and he shares three relevant points in this talk: "First, that power without love to guide it is violence, and compassion without the strength to defend it, is weakness.....Second, be truthful in every action, because everything that you do is a reflection of who you are.... Finally, the quality of one’s life depends upon our mental attitude and our state of awareness....[w]hether life is a tragedy or a comedy is largely a matter of one’s mental attitude."
