Classical Languages chair and alumna Giselle Furlonge '03 discusses the Sophocles drama, Antigone (a reading given to her AS Latin class) and her sensitivity towards the character at different times in her life.
The first couple of times she reads the book Giselle is totally sympathetic to Antigone and her situation. In her most recent analysis, she is so annoyed with Antigone she writes her a letter. Giselle continues with her talk speaking to the students about life choices and their choices, and she writes them a letter as well.
