Notes
Wednesday after the First Week after Epiphany - Mark 1:29-45
In cataloging his time playing church concerts over the Christmas season Nathan Costa, Academic Dean wonders whether it is the numbers one clocks in to that gains one's entrance to Heaven, or whether it is how one spends one time on earth being open to "epiphanic" moments, "moments of realizations of a changed heart and mind, a world where demons can be eradicated, hurts healed, and diseases cured....These moments of reconciliation, realization, enlightenment, and healing, are all epiphanic moments, recognition of the in-breaking glimmers of the kingdom of God into this dark, wintry world."
