Chapel Talk, 2012 September 9 / Tad Roach

During the first Sunday service of the 2012-2013 school year, Headmaster Tad Roach provides an alternative view to the school's institution of Sunday services. He invites students to discard the idea that the religious service is monotonous or tedious. Rather the Sunday service is a radical act, a weekly ritual that renews hope and commitment towards the school's mission. Sunday Chapel is not meant to be a passive tradition, but an engaging ritual where we set the foundation of empathy, critical thinking, and courage.
