Chapel Talk, 2012 April 25 / Bernadette Devine '99

Class of '99, Bernadette Devine shares with us who she is, her background, her family, what she loves, what makes her happy and most of all her life at St. Andrew's. Bernadette speaks of a powerful moment that took place in her life at SAS - her advisor, Elizabeth Roach, asked her one day: "When was the last time you stopped and truly asked yourself if you were living your best life? Are you your best self today?" Bernadette goes on to challenge us in asking ourselves the question: "How amazing would the world be if everyone got up every morning and vowed to himself or herself that they were going to try to live their fullest and most meaningful life today. Of course not everyone would be able to achieve that every day… but what if we all tried to? Miraculous things would happen I bet."
