Headmaster Tad Roach speaks to the efforts the School community needs to make in terms of establishing a coherent direction and philosophy in terms of diversity. "What should make St. Andrew’s distinctive is our pure, unaffected humanity, our willingness to welcome rich, poor, black, white, able, disabled, old, young human beings to a place that refuses to play by the rules of the indifferent, often distrustful outside world—here, I propose, free of discrimination, bigotry, segregation and distrust, human beings can live together and earn love, affection and respect for the courage, commitment and quality of their character."
