Notes
During the virtual term of spring 2020, the pandemic was still fresh, yet another smaller drama was unfolding on the St. Andrew's campus. While walking her hound Ruthie, history teacher Emily Pressman witnessed a man dumping what was clearly a domesticated pet rabbit on the side of the road. Knowing that a rabbit like that would not fair well in the wild, the faculty that remained on campus hatched plans to try and capture the rabbit. The rabbit may have eluded capture, but it did briefly distract from the problems of the world, and even inspired this poem written by dance instructor Avi Gold.
