The cover photo shows civil rights leader Bryan Stevenson signing books and engaging with students on his visit to campus in late January. Stevenson's book, Just Mercy, was the School's required summer reading in 2017, and in response students wrote letters to Stevenson which are reprinted in this issue. Also included are the Parents Weekend Chapel Talk by Staci Williams Seeley P’17 and the Women's Network Address by Sophie Stenbeck ’98. The School community takes a daylong trip to Washington D.C. and shares thoughts and photos of the experience. Faculty reflect on recent professional development activities. Shridar Singhania ’18 discusses his experiences in Eric Finch's advanced math tutorial. Trail maps and signs are installed throughout the woods. Richard Zhang ’18 discusses "Taste of Home," a weekly culinary adventure. Faculty member Peter Hoopes ’89 discusses his passion for film and his screenwriting and production experiences. Argentinian arts nonprofit PH15 puts on a show in the Warner Gallery. The School puts on the play, Antigone, and the musical, The Drowsy Chaperone. Winter sports teams enjoy successful seasons; both boys and girls swimming win the DISC Championships. Andrew Forstoefel ’07 discusses his experiences walking across the United States and his memoir, Walking to Listen. Journalist Jim Perry ’46 is remembered.
