The cover photo shows Maggie Rogers ’12 in concert in Englehard Hall. On her visit to campus, Rogers also sat down for an interview to discuss her career as a musician. This was one of many spring artistic events. Six pages capture the many performances and exhibits of Arts Weekend. Students produce a Musical Theatre Showcase. Writer Nathan Englander and painter David Graeme visit campus and speak to students. Other campus visitors include Rob Butler ’94, Director of Performance for the St. Louis Cardinals, and Nan Mein, legendary history teacher and first female faculty member at the School. In the classroom, we go inside Bowman Dickson's AS Statistics class and hear more about the St. Andrew's STEM program from six graduating seniors: Kathryn Paton ’17, John Paris ’17, Isabelle Tuveson ’17, Hannah Beams ’17, Harrison Foley ’17 and Tiger Luo ’17. St. Andreans broaden their horizons through a service learning trip to Nicaragua, organized by Al Campo International (an organization founded by Tim Gibb ’90). Students Ryann Schutt ’18, Nam Nguyen ’18, Annie Roach ’18, Shridar Singhania ’18 and Dean of Studies Gretchen Hurtt ’90 share reflections on the Student Diversity Leadership Conference. The issue also celebrates the graduation of the class of 2017. Remarks by senior Co-Presidents Francis Kigawa ’17 and Jasmin Southerland ’17, the Commencement Address by Heather Mitchell ’92, photographs from the event and a list of student prize winners are all included. Six seniors offer "stories' on different aspects of the St. Andrew's experience: Lynden Fausey ’17, David Kim ’17, Will Imbrie-Moore ’17, Colin Cool ’17, Wendy Taylor ’17 and Kya Bunn ’17.
