Notes
Director of Admissions Louisa Zendt '78 speaks of time as a precious commodity at St. Andrew's. In talking of her sabbatical last spring, Louisa reflects on the time given her: "I was inspired and energized, and fully engaged, and yet there were days when I felt really overwhelmed and without direction." She relates her struggle to make choices in using her time, and then tells of some of her sabbatical adventures in painting, traveling, writing, learning.

Louisa concludes: "In the end there were two major lessons learned. I learned to respect myself as a doer and realize that as much as I want to do a lot and experience as much as I can, I cannot do it all, I have to prioritize and let some things go. Maybe several things have to be let go. And second, I learned how important it is to leave room for the unexpected, the undefined, and the unknown that have the potential to challenge your perspective and change your life forever."
