Notes
Physics teacher John Burk gave this talk before his departure after 8 years at the School. In referring to what physicist Brian Greene calls essential to the future of science, John recounts a year in which the community was given tremendous and various opportunities to see what people who "think outside the box" can accomplish. "I think this approach - centering one’s life around a deep desire to make a difference in the world - is the recipe for how we break free from the narrow corner of reality that seeks to confine us."
